ONE DAY AND ONE NIGHT IN A TANG TOMB

　The tombofthe Tang Dynasty Princess of Xincheng, the 21st daughter of the Taizong Emperor Li Shiming, is located 23 kilometers northwest of Liquan City, Shannxi Province. The unearthening was done jointly by the Shaanxi History Museumand the Archaeology Research Institute. The tomb having been stolen quite a few times, there were but a few bones left. The real thing of value about the tomb is the tomb frescoes.
　Photographer Qiu Ziyu, Xiao Zhang and I spent one day and one night working inside thetomb in order to take photos of thefrescoes in their original shapes. We experienced the hard work of archaeologists. In return we shot many nice pictures of the frescoes.
